American Rhythm Center - Love 2 Dance
Swing by the American Rhythm Center on Valentine's Day, Friday Feb. 14th for a pre-or-post-dinner dance soiree! Bring some friends, learn some new moves, and get over $50 worth of Valentines treats! Come for an hour or stay for the whole night! Singles and Couples welcome!
The event begins at 6:00pm with a pre-dance reception. At 6:30pm, Dave Maxx of DMX Dance Company will teach a 30-minute Soul Swing Dance Lesson. Practice your new moves for an hour - then get that boogie fever with a 30-minute disco lesson at 8:00pm with Wilfredo Rivera of Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre.
Refreshments (wine, soft drinks, and nibbles) will be served, and all singles and couples will recieve a goodie bag filled with special treats and over $50 worth in certificates for local area businesses including: The American Rhythm Center, City Winery, Bacchanalia Italian Restaurant, Fernando's/Blue Agave Tequila Bar & Restaurant, and Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique! Nibbles provided in part by Corner Bakery (Michigan & Jackson).

Film Screening: "The Mystery of the Green Dumpster"
"The Mystery of the Green Dumpster," an Israeli documentary, will be screened by the Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois.
In this engaging, award-winning film, filmmaker Tal Haim Yoffe embarks on a year-long genealogical research effort to reunite long-lost photos with Israeli family who should have them. The JGSI meeting facilitates in Temple Beth Israel will open at 12:30 p.m. to accomodate members who want to get help with geneaology websites on the Internet, or to ask genealogical questions. JGSI's genealogical research library will also be available for perusal or for borrowing selected volumes before the main program begins at 2 p.m.
